This is the session for when you're ready to stop circling the thing and actually go through it.

There are moments when you don't need a programme or a journey or a course. You need a real human — a trained one — to sit with you, see you, and help you find the specific doorway that will change things for you specifically.

That's what this session is.

Shona brings together trauma therapy, somatic work, breathwork, and nervous system coaching into a single 90-minute container that is entirely built around you: your history, your patterns, your body's specific way of holding what it holds.

No one-size-fits-all.

Just 90 minutes of the most targeted, individualised healing work available — held by someone who has both the training and the lived experience to guide you safely.

It works by using the breath to regulate the body, release stored emotion, and rewire subconscious patterns — not just think differently, but feel and respond differently.

Who This Is Not For

This session is not a substitute for ongoing mental health support if you are in active crisis. If you are experiencing suicidal ideation, active psychosis, or acute trauma response, please contact a local mental health crisis service. Shona will always signpost appropriately.

What To Expect

Most people arrive at this session with some version of "I don't even know where to start." That's exactly the right place to begin.

The first 15 minutes are a conversation — Shona listens for the shape of what's happening in your system, reflecting back what she hears with a precision that many people find immediately relieving. "That's exactly it. I didn't know how to say that."

Then you'll move into the body. Shona will guide you into the breathwork using a personalised approach based on what your intake form and initial conversation revealed. This is where the real work happens.

The final 15 minutes are for integration — bringing what arose in the body into language, into clarity, into something you can carry with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any breathwork experience?

No. Shona adapts every session to where you are. Many of her most powerful 1:1 sessions are with first-timers.

What if I cry?

Crying is welcome and common. It's the body releasing, not falling apart. Shona holds space for every emotional response without agenda.

What do I need for the session?

A quiet space where you won't be interrupted, a yoga mat or bed to lie on, headphones or earbuds, water nearby, and a blanket. The session is conducted via Zoom.

I'm worried nothing will happen / I won't be able to "let go".

This is the most common thing people say before their first session. The session is designed to meet you wherever you are — including resistant, analytical, and unsure. Shona has worked with many people who were convinced they were "too in their head" for breathwork. The body usually has a different opinion.

Can I book more than one session?

Yes. Some people use 1:1 sessions periodically alongside the group Reset Collective. Others come for a series of sessions during a specific healing season. If you'd like to discuss an ongoing arrangement, reach out via the contact page.

What if the session brings up something I wasn't expecting?

This is part of the work. Shona is a trained trauma therapist and holds these experiences with skill and care. You will not be left to navigate anything alone.

The Reset Collective is that space. Every Wednesday evening, people from across the world breathe together, to be witnessed, to come back to themselves.

What You Get

Weekly Live Group Breathwork Session

Every Wednesday evening. A 60-minute guided session live with Shona — breathwork, nervous system regulation, education, and a daily regulation tool to practise and implement every day. Tailored to what's moving collectively that week. No two sessions are identical. Replays available for 48 hours if you can't make it live.

Private Community Space

A closed member community where you can share, ask questions, and connect between sessions. This is not a generic Facebook group — it is a carefully held, intimate space for people doing real work.

Access to the Journey Library

Growing library of Shona's recorded breathwork sessions (shorter, 20–30 minute versions) for between-session regulation throughout the week.

Co-regulation — the physiological settling that happens when your nervous system is in the presence of other regulated nervous systems — cannot be replicated in solo practice. The Wednesday sessions create a felt sense of safety that goes beyond what any individual can create alone.
